IPATH Arizona Update

The IPATH team is still in Arizona this week. Fred Gall can be seen here eating lunch while Ryan Reyes shreds the ditch. Ted Shred is on the left with the taildrop from hell. Way to go guys!

Ryan Lay's Vancouver Backside 50/50

This photo was taken outside of our hotel room in Vancouver. Ryan was first to the van that day and got bored waiting for everyone to wake up. So, after lacing up some new shoes he eyed up this ledge that was right outside and kind of difficult to hit. You can see there is a car parked in the way but what you can't see is the 12 foot drop on the other side after the ledge drops. Not too shabby for a 10am makeshift warm-up spot.

IPATH "Boss Of Me" Am Event November 15

IPATH is supporting the Boss Of Me amateur skateboarding contest on Sunday November 15th at the Fontana Skatepark in California. The event will decide who is the boss of the handrail, stairs and hubba ledge. Judging will be done by IPATH pro’s Ben Raybourn, Adam Alfaro, Nilton Neves and Jaws, and they’ll also be doing a demo too. Come on out to Fontana and check it out!

Andrew Norris a.k.a. Whodi is from Wisconsin. He is one of our iFlow riders, he rips and we send him shoes. We asked him some questions. He gave us some clever answers. Nice kid!

Gleaming the Cube or Thrashin?�It's a close call but I think I would have to go with Thrashin, the Daggers were a sick @ss crew. Besides, Christian Slater is kind of soft.

Biggest fan ever of?�Life

Other than Kenny Reed, who has the best-tweaked switch ollies?�I'm pretty sure no ones got ‘em like he does.

Five reasons to leave Wisconsin for Smog, CA�1. Out of the entire year it’ll rain for 4 months, snow for another 4 months and 10 degrees will be the high, then when its finally summer its 100 degrees plus humidity… sounds nice huh?�2. There's no In-n-Out burger in Wisconsin�3. Going from farmland and fields as far as the eye can see, to skate spots and taquer�as for days�4. People in Wisconsin get trapped and don’t really do much
5. The girls here are bomb; the girls back home are not so bomb�There are seriously hundreds of more reasons, those were just my top 5…

How long have you been here in California?�I've been here for a couple months now, but I’ve been coming and going for the past four years.

Best Cardiel quote or any other quote?�I don’t really know any Cardiel quotes. I wish that I did… I just know that Cardiel is sick.

If you had to choose between living in the 90's small wheels/ baggy pants era, the 80's fat board neon color era, or the 70's sidewalk surfing era - which would it be and why?�70’s for sure, no doubt about it. I would just cruise around all day, blaze down and do wheelies… my dad tells me people were more alive in the 70’s.

Best place to lose your sanity?�Vegas

Worst place to lose your sanity?�In Jack’s car

Best advice someone has ever given you?�F*#k everything and just live life

Ben Raybourn Got Rumbled In Ramona

Ben Raybourn went to Rumble In Ramona this past weekend and got rumbled. He was ripping and then broke his wrist, bad. Now he’s back in Texas and awaiting surgery to fix the situation. We wish him fast healing and a speedy recovery!

Biggest fan ever of? Like People? I’m probably Ryan Lay’s biggest fan and of course John Cardiel. I guess this is busting me. But like not people I think puppies and baby sea turtles are the the best ever

Best Cardiel quote? “Just DO SOMETHING you know what I mean, DO SOMETHING basically is what I feel like doing, SOMETHING! I don’t know about ever but one time he asked me for a lighter. I didn’t have one… I’m sure he remembers that 1/2 second just as well as I do.

Favorite way to tweak your board? By the nipples. Given you’re board has firm nips. If not I’d say sideways. Everything looks sicker if you’re flying through the air like 90 mph. One time someone said to Ryan “I love those steezy boned ollies.” Basically anything not too over exaggerated. People never learn though, the new 3 flips are gross. Too much angle for me.

Barney of the Year Award? Oooooh, the uber-coveted PBR award? Fred Gall and Danny Dicola are going halfsies this year. A close third is Ryan Lay cause he scratched some pool coping with some dude trying to rip on him by calling him “Street Kid”. Well, Ryan can ollie, nollie, and swollie over that dudes house and slash the deep end of his pool.

Five ways to pass college? 1. Don’t give any shit for three years, realize you’re still a freshman then give a little bit of some shit.
2. Sleep at nighttime. 3. If you skate till six in the morning just stay awake for class at 8am. 4. Don’t talk at school ever. The teachers think you’re smarter when you don’t talk. 5. Wear sunglasses or hats to class so you can sleep in the corner seat without getting busted.

Wake up time? I woke up today at 10:30pm. Everyone was getting back from the park. It’s cool though we’ve got a 24 hour grocery store that keeps this boy fed. Also it’s 2:14 in the morning. Price just woke up.

Reasons you quit college to tour with Ryan Lay? 1. Not getting paid to skateboard all day with him ha-ha 2. Don’t give a shit about not giving a shit. 3. Might as well do something while I’m doing nothing. 4. He dropped out of real school and I dropped out of Community College. Is that real college? 5. I’m now going to the University my dad graduated from 20 years. Making daddy proud.

Best place to lose your phone/keys/wallet? 1. If I knew the best places I wouldn't lose them. 2. Pockets of dirty clothes. 3. Always someone else's car. 4. In my own hand! That’s the worst when I forget I’m holding it. Sometimes Matt Price will find my shit before I realize it’s gone ha-ha. 5. One time I told my parents someone broke into my truck and stole my ipod cause my windows were down. Eight months later I found it under the seat. 6. I once reported my wallet stolen, cancelled my cards and got a new ID. I found it in my car a year later.

Also can I say thanks to some people? I’m not like a person that will have magazine interviews so might as well show people I appreciate them here right? My parents still love that I skate but have never watched me or pushed me at it which is so perfect. I seriously couldn't afford have nearly as many opportunities skating without them. You guys rip so hard!

Bob And Ben At Bucky's Bowl-B-Q Event

IPATH riders Bob Burnquist and Ben Raybourn were among the VIP’s invited to skate in Bucky Lasek’s Bowl-B-Q event this past weekend. Held at his gnarly 14-foot deep backyard bowl, the event was a one-day jam of the best of the best concrete and vert skaters.�

We showed up to what we thought was gonna be a mellow session. As we pulled up there was a helicopter, police officers and a few hundred people. Ben won some cash for a Judo 360 and a back-tail revert. �Bob Burnquist wowed the crowd with tweaked out padless frontside 540. Thanks for the invite, Bucky.
